Community Integration Program

On a daily basis, staff members encourage individuals to take part in community and leisure-time activities. CCRI’s Community Integration Program opens the door to even greater involvement. The program’s coordinator organizes activities such as bowling leagues, a birthday club, vacations and day trips to interesting places, game and craft days and much more.

Of course the participants benefit, but so does the community. As the community becomes better acquainted with people with disabilities, stereotypes diminish and acceptance grows.
