Camp H.E.R.O. Provides Fun in the Sun

Camp H.E.R.O. (Helping Each other Remove Obstacles) celebrated its 13th year. The camp is held at the beautiful Courage North Campus.

Courage North is located on the shores of Lake George, 35 miles north of Park Rapids, MN. The camp is surrounded by 90 acres of majestic pines and shoreline. Each log cabin has a dayroom with a fireplace, a large bathroom complete with an accessible shower, and a bedroom with bunks. The natural beauty of the log cabin design of Courage North’s buildings adds to the warmth and charm of the camp.

CCRI provides staff who are trained to work with individuals who have special needs. Camp H.E.R.O. staff are an enthusiastic group of men and women who are selected for their interest and dedication to helping people.

The fee for the 3 day camp is $175 and includes lodging, all meals, and transportation to and from camp on a charter bus. The day rate is $75. This fee is for mileage (210 miles round trip) and 1 meal.
