September Impact Award Winners
Congratulations to our September Impact Award Winners!
Sara Rettig—CCRI Direct Support Professional
Sara and Jordan shared their first day at CCRI together. It was Sara’s first day as a caregiver and Jordan’s first day receiving services-and to top it off they took the CCRI Polar Plunge! Jordan can be very shy and quiet so Sara’s bubbly and positive attitude helped him come out of his shell. It was an instant connection between the two! Sara continues to encourage Jordan to learn and grow and Jordan thrives in the security of a dependable and outgoing caregiver. Thank you Sara!
Carrie Dahl—CCRI Direct Support Professional
Carrie took over the daytime position at a home where one person was moving out and another person was moving in. Carrie kept everything organized and helped both individuals move into their new homes comfortably. Her communication skills with the people she supports, their families, supervisors, coworkers and others are phenomenal. There doesn’t seem to be a task too big that Carrie can’t conquer. Her hard work inspires the people she supports to conquer their goals as well.
Charlotte Jacobson—CCRI Direct Support Professional
Charlotte works with almost all of the individuals in the Independent By Design (IBD) program and brightens their day the minute she arrives. It doesn’t matter the task at hand from cleaning/organizing, attending appointments or signing up for day camps, Charlotte is up for anything and does so with a positive attitude. She provides endless positive guidance and encouragement for the individuals to be successful with their best interest in mind. Anyone who’s met Charlotte knows she is one of the most caring, understanding and kind people you’ll meet- such a joy to work with! Thank you, Charlotte for joining the IBD team, you’re making a huge impact!
